As such, your web site and email address remains portable should you ever wish to change service provider. If you already have a domain name registered with another Internet Service Provider and wish to change your ISP we'll transfer your domain name across to us quickly and smoothly for the nominal charge of £35.

By registering a .uk domain name, you enter into a contract of registration with Nominet UK on the following terms and conditions (HERE). This is a separate contract to any arrangement you may have with any third party for the provision of internet services. Please read before proceeding with your order.

Great, so now you've registered your domain what now? Assuming you chose a reputable ISP to perform the registration in the first place then you will have title to the name and the registration fees will have been paid. The next step is to ensure that the management of your name space is straightforward and there are no additional fees for email and web forwarding.

• If you already have a domain name and run your own DNS, Brannitan can provide secondary DNS hosting for you, to ensure your domain never "falls off the net" - simply give us a few details. (If you don't have a clue what this is then you don't need it - it's for users who have their own DNS server and domains using their custom DNS.)
