Setting up a Mail Account

Click on Tools and choose Accounts.

Click on the Add button.

Then click on the Mail option. This will start the Internet Connection wizard to set up your new email account.

Type your full name in the the text box and then click Next.

Type your email address into the text box in the form:

username@domainname, this must all be in lower case.

Click Next.

In the Incoming mail (POP3) field type mail.brannitan.com
In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) field type mail.brannitan.com
If you are using a Brannitan Dial-Up - you must use smtp.brannitan.net as the SMTP Server!

Then click Next.

In the Account Name field type your FULL E-Mail Address as supplied.
In the Password field type your Password.

If you do not wish to type in your password every time you check your mail, click in the box to Remember password.

You have now completed setting up your email account.

Click Finish.

Click on Close.

At this point, you can click Close and test your new account by clicking Send and Receive.

If you have registered a domain name, make sure the Brannitan account is highlighted and click Properties.

In the Reply address box type your domain name, click OK, then click Close.
